INFO: Digital TV ist nicht mehr online

Vorhin habe ich einen eeePC neu aufgesetzt und habe auch gleich alle Updates/Upgrades eingespielt. Aber das Programm “Digital TV” kann man nicht mehr installieren – das programm wird nicht mehr zum download bereitgestellt.

I don’t have yet Digital TV in “add/remove software”.
Maybe it’s only in deutsch repo?

Do You have any .deb package with this?

The software will be shown if you go to “add/remove software” and you choose then to the section “play”.

Perhaps it’s really an German version thing!

I upgrade asus-icon, asus-categories to version 3.40-1_i386, and i don’t see it. Maybe it’s not avalible in englisg repositories

Where you have this “softare installer”, in easy/advanced mode?

In Synaptic, and (easy mode) add/remove software I don’t see it ;/

I’m using the german brand of ASUS eeePC which is sometimes sold in Germany, so the repositories are as follows:

deb http://update.eeepc.asus.com/p701/ p701 main
deb http://update.eeepc.asus.com/p701/de/ p701 main

And i think this software will only be installed if you are using the software installer from “Preferences” –> “Software Management” (perhaps your wording is different, i just tried to translate the german wording).

what repositorium do U have in /etc/apt/sources.list ?

I update and upgrade Xandros (in Eee PC 701), and I dont’y have “Digital TV”.

What it starts up ?
